Job Description :

SnapIT Solutions is seeking a Workstation Support Technician to provide critical support for desktop systems, applications, and end-users. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues, while ensuring users can work efficiently in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on workstations.
  • Provide support to end-users through remote and in-person communication.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and printer issues.
  • Set up new devices, including accounts, email, and software applications.
  • Track and manage support tickets and maintain documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment.
  • Assist in documentation development and user training.
  • Stay up to date with technology trends and tools.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s / Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, DNS, Active Directory, and VPN.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with audio-visual equipment, ruggedized laptops, and other peripherals is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
  • Comfortable with bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
  • Work Environment :

  • Primarily office-based, with on-site visits to different departments and locations.
  • May require occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical issues or planned system maintenance.
  • Extensive driving to sites within the service area, which includes the eastern half of Kansas and western half of Missouri (company vehicles are provided).
  • Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm (with flexibility and opportunity for overtime).
  • Start Date : August 25, 2025
  • End Date : May 29, 2026
  • Compensation : $46,051.20 - $57,948.80 / year.
