This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Director of Pricing & Profitability to join our team in our Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, New York, or Washington D.C. office(s).

This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices.

The Director of Pricing and Profitability leads the firm's strategy on pricing and client value while driving profitability performance across the organization. This role also supports the execution of the firm's data strategy related to financial metrics and analysis. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of financial modeling, market insights, and pricing structures specific to the legal services industry, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with partners, senior leadership, practice groups, and client teams.

On a typical day you will :

Strategic Pricing Management

• Develop and implement pricing strategies designed to support client retention, enhance competitive positioning, and maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with partners and practice groups leaders to develop custom pricing solutions for new and existing clients, including participation in client pitches and the RFP process.
• Provide guidance and oversee the approval process for pricing proposals, ensuring alignment with firm-wide financial goals.
• Manage the annual rate setting process in collaboration with firm leadership.
• Research and maintain comprehensive understanding of legal market trends, industry benchmarks and intelligence related to pricing strategies.

Washington State

The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $246,000 to $287,000.Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit is 15 days per year and 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly. Additional voluntary programs include : voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.

California

The annualized salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $246,000 to $287,000; and in San Francisco is $283,000 to $330,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The annualized salary range for this position in Washington D.C. is$256,000 to $299,000.Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
