Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.Responsibilities
The nurse is responsible for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care, developing nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary and communicating changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor / Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.

Job Requirements :
Completion of required education to obtain Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).RN with Texas Board of Nursing - OR - current home state license is required for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact.BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification through AHA is required upon hire.Active PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) through AHA / American Academy of Pediatrics endorsed program required within 6 months of hire.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.Preferred Job Requirements :
1+ years of experience in an ICU hospital setting.Experience with patient safety best practices.
