Extrusion Operator

Night Shift - 4 : 48PM-5AM (3 workdays week 1 and 4 workdays week 2) - $20.40- $22.01 starting pay.

• Maintain and monitor the hopper area ensuring that extruders are loading the correct materials as specified in work orders.
• Reclaim and grind materials from production start-ups and off-spec production for reuse.
• Collaborate with operators to determine appropriate regrind percentages and availability.
• Successfully complete OSHA-approved forklift certification and adhere to all safety guidelines for forklift operation.
• Use software tools such as MII SAP and Access to accurately document and track material usage and production activities.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of grinders ensuring materials to be ground are correctly identified.
• Accurately label and store ground materials for future use in designated storage areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by regularly cleaning equipment extruders storage areas and warehouse aisles.
