Job Requirements

What You will Do :

Write NC programs to machine complex parts
Follow part through manufacturing process with operator to ensure accuracy
Verify parts through Vericut
Review and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures
Work with manufacturing and design teams
Create improvement methods
Mentor and facilitate training for team members
Meet with customers regularly to monitor project health

Work Experience

What You Will Bring :

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, etc) or equivalent experience

Experience programming CNC machines required

Experience with Vericut desired

Experience with lathes, mills, and Swiss Screws desired

3-5 years minimum of relevant experience

Previous experience writing NC code within the aerospace industry desired

Significant experience in manufacturing processes

Ability to work in high stress, fast-paced environment

Proficient with GD&T concepts

Experience with Aerospace products or related products valued

Displays strong analytical skills

Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results

Exhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processes

Shows very strong written and oral communication skills to all stakeholders

Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once

Experience working in multicultural environments and with others of diverse backgrounds preferred

Superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Ability to resolve conflicting situations

Effective problem-solving skills

Substantial amounts of computer work

Physical Requirements & Work Environment :

Office and / or Shop Floor Environments

Lift / Transport 25 lb (if / when working on-site)

Common activities include sitting, walking, and standing

Typically includes substantial amounts of computer work – but can also include hands-on activities (e.g. lifting, inspecting, transporting, etc.)

Heavily Regulated Industry with strict adherence to procedures and standard work

Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late, arriving early, OT

Ability to use personal transportation (work, customer, other)

Due to customer’s work classification and security, candidate’s citizenship status must be : “U.S. Citizen”
