Job Title : Physical Therapist
About the Role :
Nurse Next Door Coeur d’Alene is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team on a contracted, part-time basis. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients within their homes. We are looking for a professional who demonstrates both clinical excellence and genuine passion for patient well-being.
Please note : Hours will not be consistent at the start as we continue building and expanding our home health program. As patient volume increases over the next few months, hours will become more consistent, and some travel will be required.
Compensation : $85 per visit
$130 per recertification or reassessment
$250 per Start of Care (SOC)
Essential Functions :
Assessment : Evaluate patients’ physical condition, medical history, and functional limitations using standardized assessment tools to determine mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility levels.
Diagnosis : Identify movement-related problems and design individualized care plans to address each patient’s specific needs and goals.
Treatment : Implement evidence-based therapies such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to promote recovery and reduce pain.
Patient Education : Teach patients and caregivers about the diagnosis, treatment plan, and home exercise programs to encourage continued progress and prevent further injury.
Monitoring and Adjustment : Track patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Documentation : Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Education & Experience Requirements :
Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Current Idaho Physical Therapy license
Current BLS and CPR certification
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen during the pre-employment process
Proof of personal liability insurance required
Strong ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel)
