Responsibilities
Provides case management to a group of patients providing specific assessments according to protocols and procedures clinical competence in procedural skill treatments and patient / caregiver education related to wound care management and acts as patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care.Prepare patient and assist provider with examination treatment and minor surgical procedures.Assists in the delivery of healthcare services and patient care management.Responsible for obtaining medical histories wound assessment and treatments collection and preparation of specimens.Responsible for medication delivery scheduling tests answering telephone inquiries providing patient education and performing other duties as requested by physician / provider.Collaborates with other health care providers wound care center Physicians Program Director and Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs.Qualifications
Education :
Diploma from an RN ProgramLicense(s) / Certification(s) :
Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.Must apply within 90 days for Registered Nurse licensure in Illinois.Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.ACLS PALS or ENPC TNCC or TNS required to completed within one year of hire date.RNpositionsQC
