Syufy Enterprises is a fast-growing financially strong Marin-based entertainment and leisure company that owns a variety of businesses including high-end athletic clubs and spas restaurants golf venues shopping centers public markets and drive-in theaters. Over the next several years the company will be rapidly expanding all its brands and looking to invest in new brands.

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Temporary Real Estate Accountant reports to the VP of Real Estate Accounting and will perform various duties to support the month and year-end close process and the annual budgeting process.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Work a flexible schedule ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week based on business needs.
• Full responsibilities for assigned properties including Accounts Receivable functions.
• Perform month end close process including but not limited to preparing journal entries reconciling balance sheet accounts performing variance analysis and issuing financial statements.
• Participate in annual preparation of budgets.
• Prepare annual tenant CAM budgets and CAM expense reconciliations.
• Maintain Property Management software including input of new leases and updates.
• Interpret and review leases including verifying / reconciling lease abstract to the lease.
• Manage or assist with special projects as assigned.
