What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities within the shelter environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all individuals at the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a sense of security.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

Collaborate with shelter staff and other Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the well-being of residents and visitors.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
