Were Grease Monkey Garage. We are a mobile automotive diagnostics and repair company specializing in ADAS calibrations, electrical diagnostics, and programming services. Our primary clients are body, automotive repair, and transmission shops that need expert-level support for diagnostics, calibrations, and programming.
As we expand into the Chicago area, were looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing company that plans to expand into 10+ markets in the next 23 years.
What Youll Do :
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs for a variety of vehicles.
- Work directly with body shops, auto repair shops, and transmission shops that rely on our expertise for ADAS calibrations, programming, and electrical diagnostics.
- Calibrate ADAS systems (well teach you if youre unfamiliar, as long as youre a quick learner).
- Use factory software for programming and diagnosticsexperience with at least one manufacturers system is preferred.
- Deliver high-quality service to our clients with minimal supervision.
- Represent our companys values of professionalism, reliability, and technical excellence.
What to Expect During Training :
- Youll participate in two weeks of paid training in Saint Louis, MO, before the Chicago area launch.
- Training will cover our systems, tools, processes, and client interactions to ensure youre ready to deliver expert-level service.
During the first two weeks of operations in Chicago, youll work alongside a technician from our St. Louis team for additional support and onboarding.
- Hotel accommodations will be provided during training unless you prefer to stay with family or bring your family along (were flexible and happy to support your needs,
- some restrictions apply).
What Were Looking For :
- ASE Certified (A1A8) this is a must.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
- Strong experience in vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with factory programming software (experience with one or more manufacturers preferred).
- Quick learner willing to dive into ADAS calibrations and other advanced systems (training provided).
