Job Overview : The Senior Wellness Specialist supports the mental health and resilience of individuals and families who have been forcibly displaced, providing one-on-one peer support, case management, and group-based services. This client-facing role includes one on one support, offering psychoeducation and skill-building workshops, and facilitating MHPSS groups. The Senior Wellness Specialist also coordinates program logistics, recruit participants, documents services, and supports evaluation through data collection. Additionally, they connect clients to appropriate mental health resources, assist with care coordination, and collaborate with supervisors to provide crisis support as needed.

Major Responsibilities :

Client Engagement & Support

• Process client referrals and conduct initial intakes for all clients.
• Provide Skills for Psychology Recovery (SPR) services to clients. This includes one on one psychosocial support.
• Provide mental health navigation case management.
• Provide individualized intake, assessment, orientation, support, referral, and advocacy services by assessing and evaluating each participant's distinct needs
• Develop individualized action plans with clearly defined goals and activities based on assessment findings.
• Identify community resources to meet client needs.
• With support from supervisor, refer clients requiring higher levels of mental health care to culturally and linguistically appropriate providers.
• Support crisis assessment and intervention for program participants in collaboration with supervisor.
• Handle complex cases requiring multi-agency coordination or advanced advocacy in collaboration with supervisor.
• Document client interactions and program activities through detailed case notes and data entry.

Compensation : (Pay Range : $28.00 - $32.00) Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
