Managed Services Help Desk Technician, Oak Brook, IL

Summary :

This is a full time permanent Managed Services Help Desk Technician position. We are looking for well-rounded technologists with experience working with small and mid-sized businesses preferably. A diverse technical skill set is key, along with stellar client service skills, excellent written / verbal communication skills, high energy level and dynamic personality. Must own a reliable car with insurance to travel to client sites 50% of the time downtown and throughout the Chicago area and suburbs when necessary. Position will be a combination of remote and on-site support.

Responsibilities :

• Manage a client base and support small homogeneous local area networks (LANs).
• Provide first tier support and troubleshooting of user endpoint issues, provide end user training, and perform routine administrative functions including new user account provisioning, password reset requests, workstation migrations, and hardware support tasks.
• Design and implement IT solutions for client base.
• Monitor client systems performance and reliability.

Qualifications :
