WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Tooling department, the Tooling Technician will help to fabricate, assemble, and repair various types of composite mold tooling. The technician will work with a variety of composite materials, hand tools, and power tools such as grinders, saws, and sanders. Other expectations may include :

  • Use dimensional measurement tools
  • Lay-up composite materials
  • Vacuum bag and consolidate materials
  • Read blueprints, templates, process sheets, and other authorized documents
  • Develop shop aids to facilitate the fabrication of composite parts
  • Perform repairs
  • Maintain electronic and paper records as required
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is helpful
  • Proficientand comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Able to take accuratemeasurements
  • Previous experienceworking with compositematerials is a plus, but not required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of quality
  • Must work well independently and in a team with a great attitude
  • Open to new ideas, challenges, and learning opportunities
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future

  • Entry-level to experienced aerospace manufacturing position
  • Competitive Wages : $20-$25 / hr. depending on experience

  • Shift : Monday Friday 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm or 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm
