The Role

We are seeking a

Vice President

to join our growing

San Francisco

team. This person will help drive new investments across

consumer, fintech and B2B applications , and should have a strong interest in how AI is reshaping software and user experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop theses and source investments across AI applications.

Ability to flex across thematic coverage areas like consumer, fintech and enterprise application AI.

Lead and support deal execution, financial modeling, memos, and board work.

Engage our corporate ecosystem and LP network to surface opportunities and insights.

Build and nurture a network to represent Cathay across the ecosystem through events, conferences, and thought leadership.

Qualifications

2+ years of investing experience (VC / growth equity) plus ideally additional experience in technology (e.g. PM, consulting, investment banking, or corporate development).

Already plugged into the ecosystem; you’ve built an early network or community of founders, operators, and investors, and know how to turn relationships into deal flow.

Curious by nature. You’re deeply interested in AI and how it’s transforming the way people live, work, and build across both consumer and enterprise.

Strong analytical and strategic instincts. You spot patterns early, connect dots others miss, and turn insights into conviction.
