Job Description

ASRC Federal Gulf States Constructors is seeking a Architect to support environmental compliance activities under the Sheppard Air Force Base contract in Wichita Falls, Texas

Duties and Responsibilities :

Performs duties as Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the lifecycle of projects (existing

conditions investigation, conceptual design through construction completion).

These duties include evaluating and recommending approval of submittals; providing technical

approach assessments; developing modification packages when necessary.

Review plans and detail drawings for construction of new and maintenance, removal or

rearrangement of existing layouts and finishes.

Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing work.

Formulates and recommends new or corrective action measures such as schedule revisions,

manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and registered as Set Forth by the Statutes Regulating Professional Architects / Engineers

5 years of experience in architecture.

Be able to prepare and present presentations / briefings to the client.

Have or be able to obtain a Registered Architect License in one of the US states or territories

with one year of hire date.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance.

Must maintain a valid US driver's license.

Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.

Commitment and capacity to work in a collaborative environment in support of Air Force

mission in compliance with established DoD criteria.

Desired Qualifications :

Currently be a Registered Architect in one of the US states or territories.

Experience working in a military environment.

Five years' experience in facility, life-safety, and infrastructure design.
