Ocean Systems Engineer, Senior Manager

Key Role :

Provides expertise and services in the disciplines of maritime structures design and construction, construction of seafloor infrastructure, hydrodynamics, mooring systems, seafloor cable systems, and control of manned, remotely piloted, and autonomous vehicles. Researches, designs, develops, and tests structures, propulsion units, and undersea vehicles and systems. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications :

10+ years of experience in design, construction and deployment of undersea infrastructure

Knowledge of Acoustics, Autonomous Undersea Vehicles, Corrosion Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Science, Marine Structures Design, Seakeeping, Unmanned Surface or Undersea Vehicle design and operations

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $142,900.00 to $266,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
