Visible local non-profit organization is seeking support of an Accounting Specialist to assist with department reconciliations.

Salary Range : $50,000- $55,000

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST :

The Accounting Specialist will focus on reconciling and posting changes :

Reconcile credit card and bank statements

Reconcile payroll entries and other journal entries for accuracy

Identify issues and correct account posting, as needed

The Accounting Specialist will assist with posting journal entries and other accounting projects

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST :

Accounting Specialist must have extensive experience with reconciliations

General accounting experience sufficient to complete the tasks listed above

Intermediate Excel skills - ability to perform Pivot Tables is a plus, not a must

Preferred candidate will have a keen eye for detail and disposition to work diligently
