KPMG is currently seeking a Trade & Customs Associate - FTZ to join our International Tax practice.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct research and provide advice to clients, in a variety of industries, on Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), import and export compliance matters
• Analyze import / export data in support of global trade projects such as : customs duty savings assessments, including for FTZ opportunities; trade compliance reviews; and global trade management (GTM) system implementations
• Be a valued member of the FTZ service delivery team and the GTM system implementation team
• Support FTZ clients with validating data, implementing, testing, and using GTM solutions
• Provide clients with guidance on requirements of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and participating government agencies (PGA) for import, entry and export transactions in an FTZ environment
• Assist in the delivery of multiple client engagements on time and within budget; maintain active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and satisfaction
