Life Insurance Product Owner

We are seeking an experienced Life Insurance Project Manager / Product Owner to lead strategic initiatives and manage the successful delivery of projects within the Life Insurance domain. This dual-role position combines strategic program management with tactical product ownership, requiring a professional who can balance high-level planning with hands-on execution to drive business outcomes and deliver customer value. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Project Leadership (Project Manager Responsibilities) Program Alignment : Ensure all projects and product initiatives are aligned with the overall Life Insurance business strategy, such as launching new digital platforms or enhancing existing product offerings. Dependency Management : Identify, track, and manage interdependencies across product teams, business functions, and shared services including Marketing, Underwriting, Legal, and IT. Governance and Reporting : Develop and maintain integrated program plans, manage project budgets, and provide executive-level reporting on project health, risks, and key milestones. Stakeholder Coordination : Lead stakeholder meetings and working groups, driving decision-making, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment across multiple business priorities. Tactical Product Execution (Product Owner Responsibilities) Backlog Management : Own and manage the prioritized backlog for assigned product streams across the Life Insurance product lifecycle, including features, epics, and user stories related to quoting, application, and new business processes. Feature Definition : Translate strategic requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria that development teams can execute effectively. Agile Collaboration : Act as the key decision-maker for feature scope, participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and demos, and provide clarity to ensure smooth delivery. Value Delivery : Review and approve product increments at the end of each iteration, ensuring every release delivers measurable customer and business value aligned with program goals.
