job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide overall direction and leadership for mental health services Participate in civil commitment proceedings Assess and provide DSM diagnosis Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications Provide counseling and disease process education Supervise and mentor mental health staff Evaluate and recommend methods for improving operational efficiency Accept on-call status Provide direct casework services and counseling Assist in developing treatment and therapeutic programs Prepare progress reports and discharge recommendations Serve as mental health staff liaison Maintain confidentiality of inmates / residents Coordinate professional services provided by contract personnel Attend scheduled staff meetings and group activities Utilize established policies and procedures Call : Yes Graduate from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in psychology or related clinical area Appropriate certification or license Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable position Valid driver's license US Citizenship required for ICE clearance Subject to thorough background and credit investigation for clearance
Coverage Needed
- Start Date : ASAP
- End Date : 6 months from start date
- Schedule : 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
