Teacher Assistant - Early Learning Center

Meeting Street is currently looking for a Teacher Assistant for 40 hours per week. The hourly rate is $18 to $21.55 based on experience.

Duties :

  • Provides assistance to the teacher in the classroom in regard to daily activities, cleanliness, supervision, curriculum and assessment.
  • Partners with families to ensure high quality care and education for young children.
  • Maintains a clean, organized and child-friendly learning environment in accordance with state regulations.
  • Always maintains supervision of children (indoor / outdoor) using accurate licensing ratios.

    Requirements :

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • 12+ College credits in Early Childhood Education from an accredited university required, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred per program accreditors
  • Valid CPR and first aid training / certification
  • A minimum of 1 year working experience with young children, birth to age 5.
