Benefits Administrator

Wasatch is looking for a Benefits Administrator to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for multiple benefit programs for various companies inside of our organization. Since our benefits plans play an essential role in team member satisfaction and retention, your role will be vital to us. Successful candidates will be analytical with excellent Excel skills and have a high level of confidentiality with a desire to help others.

Responsibilities

The following list of functions describes the work to be performed but should not be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, functions, or tasks that the job may require.

  • Perform monthly reconciliations and provide carriers with requested updates.
  • Work with brokers on annual reporting requirements.
  • Manage 401k including contributions and distributions.
  • Maintains benefit records by using Workday, carrier systems and Excel.
  • Initiate new-hire benefits, assist with changes, and answer questions.
  • Resolve team member questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Any additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of human resources and / or benefits administration experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and strong Excel skills
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using Workday HCM preferred
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis
  • Must be highly detailed and thorough in work ethic
