Our Client Service Team senior consultants are responsible for communication strategy, content development, and the effective day‑to‑day delivery of communication solutions to our clients. They help manage a variety of projects, and maintain business relationships with clients to maximize an account’s growth, retention and business value. Consultants must be comfortable with a fast‑paced work environment, committed to deadlines, responsive to client requests, and agile in adapting strategy and deliverables in real time. This role requires high collaboration with members of the Client Service, Creative and Digital Team to deliver exceptional experiences for audiences and measurable results for our client.

Through working closely with their project teams and practice leadership, they must be able to collaboratively maintain and develop a portfolio of clients by providing high‑quality consulting, recognizing and suggesting future opportunities, implementing strong project management and delivering world‑class project implementation. They will support the development of other members of the team.

A hands‑on consultant with a passion for communication and a natural ability to write the right message and choose the right medium for your audience. You understand the client’s strategic goals and the problem you are trying to solve for their employees and their business. You strive to create beautiful, relevant experiences that deliver results. You know the ‘why’ behind every decision and present the work with confidence, and clients love you because you ‘get’ them. You personally ensure all deliverables meet your high standards and the client’s expectations.

As a senior consultant, your billable hours target will be 1,300 hours per year. This figure will be prorated based on your start date.

Client Delivery

  • Accountable for the day‑to‑day quality, timeliness and overall standard of all project work produced for assigned clients.
  • Ownership and coordination of client projects, in conjunction with your team’s project manager.
  • Manage projects in line with our processes, to ensure quality.
  • Financial management – estimating, scoping and budget.
  • Develop recommendations to meet client.
  • Attend client meetings, conference calls and manage the day‑to‑day relationship with assigned.
  • Create compelling strategies and content that helps your clients accomplish their goals.
  • Take full responsibility and accountability for ensuring that kick‑off “right‑foot” meetings are held, thorough scoping (including definition of success criteria at the outset) and last‑step meetings are held.

Relationships

  • Build strong relationships that enable day‑to‑day account, project and stakeholder management and, ultimately, successful and effective project Engagement with creative, copywriting, digital and strategy teams as needed.
  • Provide professional, high‑quality service to all clients, colleagues and other third.
  • Proactively manage all stakeholder expectations (internal and external), always aiming to exceed those expectations where possible.
  • Mitigate project conflicts by proactively seeking outcomes that are acceptable to all.
  • Build strong, collaborative and respectful relationships with internal and external customer.
  • Administration

  • Assist with tracking all budgets and recoverability on a monthly basis for all clients you are involved with and completing the first draft invoicing process for all of those clients.
  • Accurate financial forecasting based on project plan.
  • Ensure all jobs have a statement of work approved by internal stakeholders and the.
  • Accurately record all chargeable and non‑chargeable.
  • Create case studies for all completed projects.
  • Create award submissions for outstanding.
  • Participate in at least one team presentation / thought leadership piece.
  • Liaise with suppliers to chase invoices for the monthly invoicing process, where.
  • Business development

  • Drive yearly client development plans as appropriate.
  • Ensure the profitable growth of the business by identifying and proactively developing opportunities to secure additional revenue from existing clients.
  • Contribute to the preparation and delivery of proposals and presentations for use in new business and marketing. Attend new business pitches and meetings and lead the onboarding of new clients when required.

    Required : Bachelor's degree and 6 years related experience. License required. Proven success at managing large / complex client accounts.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Technical Knowledge

  • Competent technical specialist in US employee benefits and internal communications.
  • Experience

  • Creative agency, marketing, consultancy or HR / Benefits communication experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of project and client management experience required.
  • 5+ years of supplier and stakeholder management required.
  • Skills / other

  • No egos. We want open, honest, optimistic and collaborative teammates.
  • Service‑oriented : outstanding customer service, ability to translate client needs, demonstrate commerciality, manage expectations, develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Core consulting skills in communication and project implementation, including proactivity, questioning, listening and taking a collaborative, strategic approach with clients (not order‑taking).
  • Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and develop workable solutions.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including ability to produce high standards of documentation.
  • Confidence to challenge and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders when required.
  • Able to deal with change in a positive way.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and computing skills.
  • Creative and technical copywriting and copy‑editing.
  • Proofreading experience.
  • Strong presentation preparation and delivery skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market / geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business / practice area, supply / demand, and scheduled hours.
