• Review underlying claim facts, evaluate exposure, and develop and implement a resolution strategy of assigned claims including high exposure, complex Automobile and General Liability casualty claims.
• Research and investigate potential primary, secondary, and excess insurance coverage issues and identify potential contributing insurance policies.
• Assess interplay of jurisdictional laws on rental contract terms and conditions, and all applicable policies.
• Attend mediations, court conferences and trials as necessary.
• Maintain appropriate reserving and control loss adjustment expenses.
• Communicate with renters, field operations, and counsel to achieve timely and accurate resolution.
• Provide timely and concise updates in claims computer system showing issue recognition and resolution strategy.
• Prepare reports for senior leadership providing a thorough analysis of liability and damages.
