JOB DUTIES

  • Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Install and repair various types of instrumentation such as temperature, pressure, level, and flow gauges
  • Thread, bend, cut and install tubing and piping systems as per specifications, templates and drawings
  • Be able to install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray, and screw pipe
  • Have knowledge of high-pressure valves and fittings
  • Test and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality and safety measures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed a recognized industrial mechanical course, technical diploma or equivalent education and work experience
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software programs
  • The capability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as individually
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality assurance
  • REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

    Demonstrates ability to communicate and work effectively with others. Demonstrates the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
