Clinical Laboratory Supervisor Needed in Poughkeepsie New York

NEW Clinical Laboratory Supervisor Full-Time | $45-$50 / hour

A leading medical group is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced clinical lab. This is a full-time, exempt position combining leadership and hands-on bench work (approx. 50% of time) across chemistry, hematology, and PCR testing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise clinical lab staff : scheduling, evaluations, and timekeeping
• Manage daily lab operations, including LIS / EMR interfaces and equipment maintenance
• Maintain regulatory compliance (NYSDOH, CAP, CLEP, etc.)
• Oversee QA / QC processes, calibrations, linearities, correlations, and proficiency testing
• Assist with test implementation, SOP updates, and statistical reporting
• Ensure ongoing staff competency and continuing education requirements are met
• Perform and review lab audits across all departments
