Role Summary :

The Participant Account Specialist (Retirement Plan Consultant) will assist participants through group and individual presentations to new and existing defined contribution 401(k) / (a), 403(b), and / or Government 457 plan participants across all plan sizes. This role uses data-driven, analytical thinking to lead impactful conversations with participants, and achieves annual targets as assigned. You'll report to the Regional Vice President and join a dedicated team of professionals who are all full of energy and enthusiasm and are highly driven to succeed.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the rollout and enrollment of participants in newly established 401k and 403b plans through group and individual meetings
• Enhance the company's relationship with the participants, while cross selling individual products during on-site group and individual employee meetings
• Actively network and prospect new participants to add to Mutual of America's product suite
• Increase enrollment, contributions and obtaining transfers from current group plan participants
• The PAS will be responsible for following up on direct mail, advertising and website leads forwarded to the regional office
• Acts as a financial liaison with participants on all matters concerning individual products, including investment alternatives offered under the contract
• Collaborate and present with other colleagues to show and prove our service model to prospects who are on the verge of buying our group products
• Coordination of client service matters with local Regional Office service staff and any appropriate home office departments

What we offer you :

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this role. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, whereby total compensation may exceed this range depending on individual and / or company performance.

Base Salary Range : $65,000 - $85,000
