Medical Social Work Associate (MSW)

The Medical Social Work Associate (MSW) provides crisis intervention, information, and discharge planning for patients and their families, ranging in age from infancy to geriatrics. Serves as an expert and liaison to community resources. Provides coordination of complex discharge planning needs and referrals to appropriate support services. Achieves a timely, effective, coordinated discharge plan by involving other members of the health care team. Works closely with Clinical Reviewers to achieve the highest quality care and service and the best possible outcomes in a cost-effective manner.

Pay Range is $46.52 to $62.50 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
