This is a great opportunity to join a team of other profound surgeons with a robust support staff and referral base. New staff will enjoy working in a facility that provides state-of-the-art medical treatment across a broad spectrum of different disciplines.

Jersey City Medical Center is a state designated Level II Trauma Center, providing 24 / 7 trauma surgery for adults and children throughout Hudson County. The Orthopedic Institute at Jersey City Medical Center performs the full spectrum of orthopedic procedures including total joint replacements, trauma / reconstruction surgery, and sports medicine injuries. The Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon will practice within the department, assist with trainee education, and continue to grow the robust orthopedic department at Jersey City Medical Center.

Candidate Requirements :

• BC / BE in Orthopedic Surgery
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
• Interest in clinical research
• Prior teaching experience is preferred
