job_description.job_card.job_descriptionUtilizing the nursing process to care for patients of all ages within the endoscopy unit. Monitoring patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, especially for conscious sedation cases. Coordinating endoscopy cases, scheduling, and staff assignments effectively. Educating patients and families based on individual needs to ensure understanding and comfort. Assisting physicians with endoscopy procedures according to professional guidelines. Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families. Minimum of 1 year experience as an Endoscopy RN is required. Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred. Active Texas Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire. Conscious sedation certification within 3 months of hire.
