Senior Technical Application Designer

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Application Designer to join our team and support the development and maintenance of batch business applications. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in C programming, SQL integration, and Linux environments, who enjoy solving technical challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

WORKSITE : Remote

WORK SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday, 8-5 EST

PAY RATE : $45-$47 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Modify and enhance moderately complex batch business applications using the C programming language
• Design and implement SQL queries embedded in C, working with Oracle databases
• Develop and maintain shell scripts in a Linux environment
• Interface with RESTful APIs using CURL and JSON
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Use Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs for debugging and development
• Manage version control using Git or equivalent tools
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and testing plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support client-facing initiatives
• Contribute to regression testing strategies and ensure application stability
