Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Days)

Location : Syracuse, NY

Start Date : 09 / 12 / 2025

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift :

Days, 2x12s (07 : 00–19 : 30)

Schedule :

Every other weekend and some holidays required

Department :

Emergency Department – Adult ED (will float to Peds ED and other Cross-Campus AED as needed)

Requirements :

Current New York State RN license and registration

BLS certification (must be current or able to be recertified)

Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as hospital

Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients required

Level 1 or 2 trauma experience strongly preferred

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Scope of Role :

Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments for a diverse ED patient population

Float to Peds ED and other cross-campus ED settings as needed

Deliver safe and effective care with minimal orientation and supervision
