MENTAL HEALTH TECH | 5-PSYCH

About the Role :

We are seeking a Mental Health Tech to join our team in the 6 North-Psych department. As a Mental Health Tech, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support to individuals with mental health disorders. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients. Your role will be critical in helping patients achieve their treatment goals and improve their quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Mental Health Technician (MHT) certification
• Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

As a Mental Health Tech, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families. You will also use your knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities to provide high-quality care. Your attention to detail and ability to document patient progress will be critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
