About the Job :

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at appropriate technical level.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required, including specialized areas such as X-ray Radiology.
• Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medical related environment.
• Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards.

Position Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Education :

Required : Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic technology.

Experience :

Preferred : 1 year Radiology Technologist experience.

Skills :

Ability to follow written and oral instructions and established procedures.

Licenses / Certifications :

Required : CRT license from State of AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE); Registered and certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
