Job Description

Title : Associate UX Designer (Junior Level)

Type : Full Time Position

Base : DOE

Hours : 8am to 5pm

Core Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the work produced is intuitive, functional, intelligent, and visually appealing.
  • Have a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Develop simple and elegant design solutions for complex stories, user interfaces, and problems.
  • Interpret complex concepts into simple and sophisticated user experiences.
  • Create conceptual look and feel options and document interactions into clear requirements for development.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and correctly implemented.

Job Brief

We are looking for an Associate UX Designer to create user-friendly and intuitive experiences for our clients' websites, aiming to attract and retain customers. You will enhance user experience, adoption, and conversions by combining interfaces and workflows.

The ideal candidate is an analytical and creative designer with a strong portfolio of UX and design projects, a refined visual aesthetic, strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for design and problem-solving.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist Lead UX Designers in executing user-centered design solutions.
  • Support the development of intuitive, functional, and visually appealing digital experiences.
  • Translate wireframes and user flows into production-ready assets.
  • Ensure consistency in design systems and UI components.
  • Create and refine UI elements, layouts, and interactions based on guidelines.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure design fidelity during implementation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX / UI design.

    • Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience or training in UX / UI design or related fields.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Familiarity with Figma.
  • Basic understanding of HTML / CSS; knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Passion for eCommerce and optimizing user experiences for online shoppers.
  • Exposure to eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
