Position Overview :

Were looking for a hands-on, driven CNC / Robot Operator whos ready to grow with us. In this hybrid role, youll operate advanced robotic equipment for laser-based processesand when production slows down, youll pivot to support the sales team with quoting, customer communication, and project tracking.

What Youll Do :

Production Responsibilities :

  • Operate CNC machinery and robotic systems for laser cladding and heat treating.
  • Set up parts, run dry cycles, and carry out laser processing with precision.
  • Prepare, inspect, and package components before and after processing.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine and equipment issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and keep workspaces clean and organized.
  • Complete required documentation and job tracking forms accurately.
  • Sales Support Responsibilities (When Production Is Slow) :

  • Assist with creating accurate quotes and job estimates.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding job specs, timelines, and updates.
  • Maintain CRM or job tracking systems with updated project data.
  • Work alongside engineering and operations to ensure accurate quoting and job feasibility.
  • Help with outreach efforts, follow-ups, and coordination of sample shipments.
  • What Were Looking For :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a passion for hands-on problem solving.
  • Comfortable with basic hand tools and shop equipment.
  • CNC operation experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CAD knowledge is a plus but not required.
