Position Summary

To perform the duties of assigned shifts, including patrols / rounds, protection of property, facilities, and assets, providing security, customer service, loss prevention and intervention, and all other duties as outlined in the officer's job description and Department Policies and Procedures. Provides a safe and secure environment for all staff, physical facilities, and assets. Works with local law enforcement to assist investigations of thefts and property loss. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines and DPSST regarding security.

Responsible for the Security of Mt. Bachelor employees, Guests, Property, and the Secure transportation of Money. Responsible for following Department of Public Safety Standards and Training guidelines and Oregon Laws. Follow safe work practices and be aware of good risk management practices. Interview the suspect and take appropriate action.
