Business Development Manager – High Growth, High Reward

A rapidly scaling player in the property insurance sector is seeking top-tier business development talent to join its Overland Park, KS team. This is an in-office role for competitive sales leaders who thrive in fast-moving, performance-driven environments and want to directly influence company growth.

No prior insurance background? Not an issue. Full licensing, training, and onboarding are covered so you can focus on building relationships, closing deals, and driving revenue from day one.

What You’ll Do

Advise property investors on tailored insurance solutions that meet their needs.

Build and manage a pipeline through networking, referrals, lost account re-engagement, and industry research.

Negotiate with underwriters to secure competitive, timely quotes.

Respond rapidly to inbound prospects to convert interest into closed business.

Partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to refine sales strategies and improve client experience.

Monitor market trends and adapt strategies to stay ahead of competitors.

Drive retention, upsells, and win-back campaigns to maximize portfolio value.

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years in a high-intensity, commission-heavy sales or business development environment.

Track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue targets.

Strong digital skills and quick adaptability to new tools and systems.

Competitive, self-directed, and goal-focused mindset.

Willingness to go beyond a 9–5 when the deal demands it.

Compensation & Benefits

60K+ base salary with uncapped earning potential ($80K–$175K+ realistic total).
