WAGE : $36.54-$46.28 Per Hour $76,003-$96,262 Annually
SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 00pm

The Full Time Therapist Supervisor at Wasatch Behavioral Health plays a crucial role in program development and improvement processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Performs some or all of the following) :
Participates in program development and improvement processes; provides direct first line supervision including shift scheduling, hiring, and training, evaluating, disciplining, and providing day-to-day supervision of a care facility, specialty program, or service. May interface with parents, guardians, and clients in developing services to meet client's needs. Manages standard facility for youth or adult clients in crisis; may include both mental and social issues; supervises facility staff; develops programming, coordinates with other involved agencies; provides crisis interventions; develops and recommends policies and operating procedures. Trains, mentors, evaluates and oversees all aspects of Master Therapist(s) II and MT Intern work assignments in preparation for licensure.Performs intake assessments; interviews patients, gathers psycho-social histories; completes documentation, i.e., SPMI, initial treatment plan, releases of information.; in-patient liaison coordinating care with various other health agencies and facilities providing complementary services and special programs.May lead and / or participate in staff, peer group consultation, and incident review meetings; assists to monitor diagnosis, goals and progress notes related to individual clients; assists with document reviews to assure compliance with record keeping requirements, policies, and outside audit regulations.QUALIFICATIONS :A. Graduation from a college or university with a masters degree in social work, psychology or a related field (LCSW) (CMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or comparable license recognized by the State of Utah which would allow that person to perform individual psychotherapy without supervision.Four (4) years of experience performing above or related duties under supervision approved by the Professional Licensing Division of the Utah State Department of Commerce; ORAn equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be Licensed to perform psychotherapy without supervision by the State of Utah. May be required to complete State of Utah training in Domestic Violence (16 hr.) annually.Thorough knowledge of psychology, diagnostic classifications, mental health concepts, normal and abnormal psychology; evaluation and various forms of psychotherapy; intervention & patient counseling, mental health care facility programs and procedures.Addiction & dynamics of abuse; crisis intervention & suicide assessment methods; client grievance procedures.Strong familiarity with Medicaid policies, effective supervision practices, and human resource management principles is essential for success in this role.APPLY TODAY, WE LOOK FORWARD TO HAVING YOU JOIN OUR TEAM!
