A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring high standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities Facilitate patient entrance processes including scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated in the patient record Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines, and federal / state accreditation agencies Required Qualifications 1-3 years of clerical experience preferred Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred High school diploma required; some college is helpful Strong organizational skills and ability to work under stress Knowledgeable in various computer systems and able to use a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard
