Job Title :  Project Management Associate - M&A

Duration : 8+ Months

Location : Remote

Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the integration of M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) activities, with a focus on sourcing. This role requires exceptional project management skills, the ability to manage urgent priorities, and a strong understanding of the sourcing process. The position involves handling MNPI (Material Non-Public Information), ensuring meticulous tracking, and following up promptly. The role also includes weekly asynchronous communication and offers the potential for extension based on incremental M&A activity and performance.

M&A Integration Management

  • Lead sourcing integration efforts for M&A activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Manage MNPI securely and ensure adherence to confidentiality protocols throughout the integration process.

Project Management Excellence

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understand and address urgent issues promptly while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up on action items and deliverables to keep the project on track.
  • Tracking, Prioritization, and Communication

  • Develop and maintain detailed project tracking systems to monitor progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and escalate issues as needed during weekly asynchronous communication updates.
  • Facilitate clear and concise communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Sourcing Process and Legal Acumen

  • Possess a strong understanding of the sourcing process, including vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiation.
  • Demonstrate basic legal acumen to identify and address potential risks or compliance issues in sourcing-related activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sourcing teams, legal, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration.
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Optional Expertise in Zip Project Management

  • Utilize Zip project management tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and streamline processes (if applicable).
  • Performance Monitoring and Potential for Extension

  • Evaluate project performance and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Based on incremental M&A activity and demonstrated performance, the role may be extended to support additional projects.
  • Experience :

  • Proven track record in project management, specifically in M&A activity integration.
  • Experience managing MNPI and ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.
  • Familiarity with sourcing processes, vendor management, and procurement.
  • Skills :

  • Strong organizational and tracking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage urgent priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including asynchronous communication.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Zip expertise is a plus).
  • Basic legal acumen to identify and address risks in sourcing-related activities.
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
