Gastroenterology Physician

Locums - Galesburg, Illinois, Gastroenterologist Job

Clinical Role : - Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!- Locum job opening- Must have an active Illinois medical license and be board certified in Gastroenterology- Must be available a minimum of 5 consecutive shifts per month (more preferred)

Description : - General GI - care of acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, and hospital consults- Expected median productivity- The group will work with the locum physician on call expectations - prefer as much call coverage as possible, but open to multiple candidates- Responsibilities include outpatient support, ambulatory scopes, patient admits, and rounding- Current locums have been providing a mix of ambulatory, inpatient, and ED coverage - this remains the preferred model

Required Procedures : - General GI care- Endoscopies- Hospital consults

Schedule : - Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. or 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.- Possible night call- No weekend coverage
