Position Overview :

The Internal Medicine Pharmacist provides comprehensive, patient-centered pharmaceutical care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other members of the clinical team. This position involves both decentralized and centralized practice , ensuring the safe, effective, and timely delivery of medication therapy.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver integrated clinical pharmacy services across the internal medicine service line

Oversee safe and effective medication use, monitoring, and dosing

Support both decentralized and centralized pharmacy operations

Serve as a clinical resource and educator to interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Qualifications :

B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy

Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License in good standing

BLS certification (within 14 days of hire)

ALS / ACLS certification required

Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year)

Experience Requirements (one of the following) :

PGY-1 & PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency or Fellowship (in specialty field), OR

PGY-1 Residency / Fellowship + 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience, OR

5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience without residency

Preferred Qualifications :

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

Experience with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
