Summary
Our client is a healthcare innovator advancing non-invasive treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer through image-guided superficial radiation therapy (IG-SRT) They partner with dermatology clinics nationwide to bring gentle, effective, and patient-first care directly into community settings This role is part of their superficial radiation unit and differs from hospital-based oncology by offering full clinical ownership—Radiation Therapists work independently and manage care from start to finish, serving as the go-to expert on-site.
Salary
Highly negotiable based on experience. Guaranteed 30 hours / week minimum (benefits eligible at 30 hours); workload may vary up to 40 hours / week.
Job Responsibilities
Safely deliver IG-SRT treatments as prescribed while ensuring clinical accuracy and patient comfort.
Manage the full cycle of care for each patient, serving as their primary point of contact throughout treatment.
Collaborate closely with dermatology providers and function as the lead clinical operator on site
Support dosimetry and treatment planning.
Maintain consistent application of clinical SOPs and accurate documentation.
Coordinate benefit verification (VOBs) with the internal support team and dermatology partners
Oversee scheduling and ensure smooth clinical operations.
Act as a liaison between the client’s team and dermatology practices.
Represent the client’s values of patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
ARRT certification.
Active state radiation therapy license (as applicable).
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
Preferred Attributes
Confidence working independently in a dermatology or outpatient setting.
Comfort with superficial radiation or electron set-up.
Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage daily site operations.
