Job Title : Research Associate
Location : Seattle, WA
Duration : 07+ Months (Extendable)

Pay Rate : $34.00 / hr on W2
Note : Weekend and / or Holiday work may be required on occasion, as determined by experimental schedules.
Position Responsibilities within the In Vivo Pharmacology Team :
- Applies scientific and / or technical skills to complete assigned work within own group / project team and analyzes data from experiments
- Performs work in a structured environment under direction from supervisor within own work group / team
- Uses established procedures and methodologies
- Works predominantly within established procedures
- Assists with mouse tumor biology models by performing health checks, tumor measurements, dosing, sample collection, and data entry
- Although the position is full-time (40 hours / week), the candidate may be asked to work occasional weekends or holidays
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree RequiredAt least 1.5 years of prior hands-on in vivo mouse work experience requiredPreferred Qualifications :
At least 2 years of experience in animal care / husbandry preferred, including proficiency in the monitoring and care of mouse models of disease (i.e. cancer or autoimmunity models)Experience in mouse dosing techniques, including oral gavage, and intraperitoneal and subcutaneous injectionExperience with mouse blood and tissue collection and processingExcellent record-keeping skills and experience with data entry and data managementAbility to work in a fast-moving team environmentExperience with cell culture techniques
