SUMMARY

Curative wants to change the view on what a health plan can be. Born out of the pandemic, we created a health plan reinvented for a post-pandemic world that is built around a whole person’s affordable preventive care featuring more benefits. Curative is looking for an System Operations Analyst to maintain claims, provider, enrollment, and account data, perform simple system configuration tasks, and tackle data maintenance projects, as requested. A successful System Operations Analyst is diligent, a fast learner, and is able to perform complex data maintenance activities with minimal supervision. This position is an entry point into system configuration, integration development, and testing in a health plan environment. This is a remote position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs data input and management on the HealthRules Payer system – including provider, accounts, and enrollment data in accordance with departmental procedures and training.
  • Performs specialized data maintenance tasks as requested.
  • Conducts data verification and auditing on one’s own work as well as other analysts to check for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Organizes and maintains digital and paper files related to the data.
  • Performs basic data analysis; generates reports and visualizations by analyzing data accessible in HealthRules Payer or other Curative reporting platforms.
  • Assists QA analysts in identifying and loading test cases for configuration testing.
  • Assists configuration analysts in researching claims pend and payment issues.
  • Works on projects and reporting, as assigned.
  • Attends departmental training when required or requested.
  • Adheres to the rules and regulations of Curative as described in the Employee Handbook and as defined in the unit / department / clinic procedures.
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High level of typing proficiency and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Business writing skills – drafting desk-level procedures, concise email communications, and results of analyses
  • Effective communication skills to clarify data requirements and collaborate with team members.
  • Eagerness to learn new concepts and technical subjects; ability to learn quickly.
  • Preferred qualification : Previous data entry experience in any setting.
  • Preferred qualification : Experience working in a healthcare environment and / or education in computer science, information technology, or health administration.
  • EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one
  • year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
