Welder / Mechanic - Mid-Shift

Hours : Monday - Friday 4 : 00 pm - 3 : 30 am

Are you willing to get dirty to see the success of an exciting industry?Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Welder / Mechanic at the underground mine in Randolph, Missouri. This position is responsible for inspecting, repairing and installing equipment for our underground and surface mining operations. Essential Functions

• Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Disassemble machines and remove parts for repairs using hand tools, chain falls, jacks or hoists
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Collaborate with team members to repair move machine parts for equipment or transport materials between work areas
• Lubricate machines, machine parts or other equipment according to standards
• Tend to equipment such as conveyors to move materials through production processes
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Perform welding and fabrication activities as needed
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of needed repairs

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.  Preferred Education and Experience
