As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met.
Your daily responsibilities may vary by department. Customer Service Associates work in one of the following departments, based on hiring needs and skillsets : Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Dcor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.
Key responsibilities include welcoming customers, answering questions, and delivering friendly and professional customer service. Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise, down stock merchandise, process orders and deliveries accurately, cross-functionally train in other areas of the store, prepare merchandise based on customer needs, and complete other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include 6 months experience using a computer and 6 months experience using common retail technology. Preferred qualifications include 6 months of retail and / or customer service experience, bi-lingual skills, and certification in trade related to department.
