Pathology physician employment in Washington : Locums Pathologist Opportunity Tacoma, WA Key Availability

Coverage Dates : January start ? May 1 (extension or permanent option available)

Schedule : MondayFriday, 8am5pm

Priority : Completion of case readouts (time-flexible within shift)

Call : 1 : 4 rotation , backup / 2nd call for critical results

Call response time : 30 minutes

Rotation (weekly or daily) to be discussed

Number of Pathologists Needed : 4

Locations : 3 sites across Tacoma / Puget Sound Licenses & Certifications

Active Washington State Pathology License REQUIRED

Board Certified Pathologist REQUIRED

Hemepath Certification At least 1 of the 4 roles requires this

Bone Marrow Sign-out Ability Required for 1 role

Remaining roles : broader general pathology sign-outs Clinical Expectations

Mix of Trauma Level II & III hospital cases

On-site, in-office professional sign-outs (no digital pathology)

Case mix varies per site

Potential for Medical Director responsibilities if assignment extends long-term
