About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Exceptional Children to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive programs for students with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the needs of students, establishing objectives and priorities, and ensuring that programs are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves providing direction, consultation, and supervision to program supervisors and coordinators, as well as working with various agencies to meet the needs of students. Applicants for the Executive Director position must hold or be eligible to hold a NC Teaching License, have a Master's degree in education or a related field, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in program administration. The ideal candidate will have a background in educational administration, experience in personnel management, and a commitment to process improvement. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external communities.
